  1. The tattoo was located on her foot written in bold, red font. The word stood out like a black stain on a brand new white carpet. His eyes shut slowly and his face sagged won. Amanda's ex-boyfriend's name was pasted on her pale white skin. Frankenstein. He had always despised his name, but seeing it on her skin made his hatred grow. Amanda giggled. "Sorry," she said.

  2. The tattoo remained, centered on her left cheek so whenever they would prepare for bed, it stared through him. That watchful eye that haunted him. It seemed to speak to him saying "Pedro, Pedro, ayudame!" The words started to bluer and as the cyclotrimethylene-trinitramine entered his system on this final night. To night was the night. He could finally sleep.

  3. The tattoo repulsed him. He was very religious and believed it was unethical to ink any part of ones body. Every single time his eyes laid on her neck, he squirmed. The corny flower just made it worse every time. He knew it was over, but he felt forced to stay. He was stuck in this dark hole forever.

  4. Now that he had seen this repulsive sight, he didn't want to tell her anything anymore. How could one thing instantly change every previous thought about a person? How could it make the holiest of holies into a friend of Lucifer himself? He just looked into the dark hollowness of Amanda's eyes, put on his shirt and walked out of the house. It was all caused by a tattoo.

  5. The tattoo was one of the most beautiful things he had ever seen. It was like looking at love at first sight. He never thought such a tattoo would have an impact on him. He had a moment of revelation going through his mind as Amanda wondered what he was thinking. The tattoo did not complete her more than it did complement her and he way of life. No other tattoo could have looked better on a woman as this one did. So much affection was brought out of this tattoo that he eventually proposed to her.

  6. It was a tattoo of angles wings on her back. This was supposed to help her travel to heaven in the afterlife. He never knew this side of her. It was mysterious and spiritual. This changed everything! Instead of going on a relaxing vacation, they decided to take a spiritual get away.

  7. A tramp stamp it was. It was her shame, from her days when she left her husband. She was a promiscuous girl in her youth, which eventually led to the 3 children. Aunt was ashamed of her actions as a child but she realizes she had grown up a lot and learned to behave herself and support herself and all of her children. Her tramp stamp was a unicorn, another sign of her udder stupidly. Her life had been turned around but the tattoo was a sign of her terrible past

  8. On certain occasions, he yearned to tell her about the trip. That was before Amanda revealed her tattoo.

The 6 week journey through the Appalachian mountains escaped his mind like smoke escaping his lungs as he exhaled, staring deeply into the new colors implanted under her skin. The octopus smothered her shoulder and spanned the length of her arm, encompassing her limb beneath an array of vibrantly glowing blue rings. The eye of the beast, positioned on the shoulder blade, glared at the world and captured Jake's attention, refusing to let go. The cream colored skin of the animal blended in with Amanda's own that Jake forgot the difference between the two. To him she became the beautiful octopus plastered to her body.
